Tarantino told Uma and Travolta (paraphrasing) I dont want you to dance perfectly, I want you to dance because I want the audience to see you dancing, having fun and enjoy seeing you dancing. Guess he accomplished his goal.

My husband and me do this dance all the time when we get drunk! ?? All I want in life is for someone to recreate this with me.

The moment jules and vincent looked at each other after the guy missed every shot, priceless. Geez i hope he at least sprayed some windex on it first. xD. There"s an expression called the "sophormore slump, or something to that nature. It deals in terms of an artists/athletes/etc. who"s second effort lack"s the success of their initial. In movies, many filmmakers go through this exact struggle (Kevin Smith I"m looking at you.) But, like every rule, there are exceptions. And, oh boy, is this one ever.
Quentin Tarantino started his film career by penning the script to "True Romance." An enjoyable, yet ultimately forgettable work. He followed that up by directing his desk script, shot on a minuscule budget. That film happened to be "Reservior Dogs, and the rest is history. Following the success that was "Dogs." QT finds himself in a more comfortable position to make his second film (and I"m sure the fact that he made it independently rather than under a big studio helped.) His sophomore effort was "Pulp Fiction" and it has changed the cinematic experience from the get-go. This little 8 million dollar film blew up to be a 100 million dollar plus investment, becoming a hit not only in the states, but internationally.
Why was it such a hit? The movie speaks for itself. Don"t believe me? Read anyone else review who delves into trivial details than provide much of the greatness. The acting is great. The directing is great. The writing is some of the best and wittiest dialogue I"ve ever heard. The movie somehow manages to be hilariously dark and an exercise in bad-assery (if that"s even a word. Pulp Fiction" isn"t just required viewing for hardcore movie lovers, it"s a required film for anyone of the human race. "Pulp" will never get old, it will always remain timeless and my favorite movie of all time because of that.

Im so glad i bought this tbh i can"t live without back to the future. At 4:24 when they show Vincent and Jules, the shadow behind Vincents head looks like a crucifix. Zed"s dead, baby. Great movie.

Remember, while this was being shot, Tarantino was doing the exact same dance moves behind the camera the entire time. I"m going to be Mia for Halloween, tomorrow is the party and I"m whatching this in the night to memorize and dance It! I have a dream. that I find a guy with a Vincent Vega look, he looks me, he invites me to dance this song, and everyone sees how we dance. Which I doubt really, I don"t really think that will happen. ????. Calm down,Officer Tempenny. My theory is that when Travolta went into the diner bathroom, he teleported (or something on those lines) to the apartment. That"s why he was confused, then when he died he woke back up in the diner. Idk, it"s just what I came up with. Watch closely, and also he has the same book when he goes to the bathroom in both scenes.

Fun Fact: This is what happens when you try and store a dead voice actor in Quentin Tarantino"s garage. I like this one just fine. I wasn"t really confident about it at first, but after reading other peoples analysis/reviews, I felt I was at least saying something different with the regular amount of evidence. So feel free to disagree, I just really picked up on the motif of respect and rolled with it.

Why are all these people so mad?They do realize that you would normally have to pay for any movie right? idiots. Ahh man i shot marvin in the face I love this character. Who came here after twice"s ‘What is Love" MV. I have a degree in Film but frankly this is the best analysis I"ve seen about Pulp Fiction. Everyone else seems to imply that it"s important without knowing exactly why.

Do inside man. Ever leavin" that island alive. So. I am so craving for one of those royale with cheese. Thats my fav part in pulp fiction.
